Protein biosynthesis is the process by which cells produce proteins, essential molecules for life. It begins with transcription, where DNA is copied into messenger RNA (mRNA) in the nucleus. This mRNA then travels to the ribosomes in the cell’s cytoplasm, where translation occurs.
