A P-N junction is an interface or a boundary between semiconductor material types, specifically the p-type and the n-type, interior a semiconductor. In a semiconductor, the P-N junction is created via way of means of the approach of doping. The p-side or the positive aspect of the semiconductor has an extra of holes, and the n-aspect or the bad aspect has an extra of electrons.
